I used to watch TV (cartoons and kinds movies) in Spanish and English with my brother and sister who are older than me.
I started attending a private pre-school in which I had my first contact with English.
I started kindergarten and I learned concepts in English expanding that way my vocabulary.
I started my formal education in a public primary school from a rural town called Cidra. It was the first time I had a full class of English. I learn the alphabet and the mechanics of reading and comprehending simple English texts.
I graduated with honors from my elementary school.
I started middle school. I had my first approach to literature (complete novels, etc.) in English while developing my written, speaking and listening skills in both languages.
