Doctors reconstructed my right foot (clubfoot) when I was eight months old.

Because of my birth defect, I never really bent my elbows until I was around the age of four.

My sister and I loved cooking and baking with my grandma! We learned that following directions is very important.

My mom put me in my first gymnastics class to help my muscles improve and to stretch my joints. After my first class, I fell in love with the sport; I wasn't going to let my disability stop me!

I celebrated my 8th birthday with my closest friends I made through gymnastics and school!

I became a part of Euro Stars Gymnastics Level 5 Competitive Team! Such a huge moment in my life!

Traveling down to Florida with my family for Spring Break and learning about all the different states while we drvive through them!

My mom surprised me with tickets to the Olympic Trials for Gymnastics and I got to meet the head coach of the women's team, Marta Karolyi! Such a fun experience!

I graduated from Ladywood High School!!

After 15 wonderful years, I competed my very last gymnastics meet ever. It was a very emotional day.

My best friend and I attended the Detroit Hoedown, which is a huge Country Music Festival that goes on for three days! I love country music!

I have been in a serious relationship for a whole year!

At this time, I am worried about becoming ill. I realize I will be at high risk for cardiovascular disease or dimentia. Exercise and nutrition become very important. My physical appearance will start showing aging and I will begin losing my senses; may even develop glaucoma or cataracts.

During this time, I will have learned to cope with retirement and find new things to keep myself busy and entertained. I have to worry about my loved one going before I do but hopefully I have lots of grandchildren to spoil and love. When I get too old to take care of myself, I hope my family never puts me in a nursing home.

At this time, my memory and the processes within my brain will begin to get worse. I will have to start dealing with my age. Another issue is becoming over medicated by doctors.
