Lifetime Personal Health

  • 20s-(mental health)

In this decade I will focus on mental health while still keeping up my physical heath. I will do this by having a strict regime I will follow in the mornings and evenings. I will wake up everyday and go for a walk, or get some type of exercise in the morning. In the evenings I will get my work done early so i can get plenty of sleep. I will have a healthy diet plan I follow that involves all the main food groups and I will avoid eating out or having junk food.
  • 30s-(physical health)

In my 30's I will focus on my physical health. I will dedicate time in my day for working out. I will join a gym that has classes I can take or a trainer to help me. I will take classes like cycling, yoga, or kick boxing. On days where I cant get to a gym I will still work out by going hiking, running or at the very least on a walk. I will be more strict about my diet, and get a nutritionist who can teach me whats best for my body and give me recipes I can make at home.
  • 40s-(mental/physical health & preventative care)

In my 40's I will ease up on my strict workout routine. But I will take any chance I get to work out, no matter how small. Wither it is biking to work, taking the stairs instead of elevator or taking the dog for a run. I will still stick to a fairly strict diet but I will be easier on myself. To help with my mental health I will meditate, or get out and see friends as much as I can.
  • 50s-(preventative health care)

In my 50s I will focus on preventative healthcare by keeping up to date with my doctors and medication. I will eat healthy but have no set diet restrictions, and exercise when I can. While I will put an emphasis on working out and eating right I wount let it dictate my life. I will focus on my mental health by staying in contact with friends and getting out often and seeing the world. I will learn all I need to know about medicare and the heath/insurance benefits I receive as I grow old.
  • 60s-(mental health & preventative health care)

Most important to me in my old age is my mental health. I will visit my family as often as possible, see people and new things whenever I get the chance. To remain physically I will go for walks often and workout to my bodies capabilities. I will do everything necessary to keep me living while I am happy. Preventative health care will keep my up to date on my shot, and xrays and I will visit the doctor often.
