    Finnaly on June 20 of 1914 the passangers on the boat committee agreed to the goverments demand that a test case be heard by the Immigration Board Enquiry. It was eventually declind because someone did not follow the countinous jorney.

    Chinese resedents of Canada who were not already Canadian Citizens could applied for naturaization. Came into Affect in July 1st 1923.
  • Humiliation Day

    On this day the law implased on Chines immigrants in 1985 was abolished. It was replaced with a new Chines imigration act whick it virtually barred them from Canada. This law remainded in effect untill 1947.
  • Canadian Citezenship

    All immagrants in Canada to become a citezen-five years for none british and one year for British- could be deported if they got in trouble or no longer had a job.
