I used blogger to keep a record of my research and planning. This was effective because all my prlimnary ideas were recorded in one place and I could tracck them as they developed and this allowed me to evaluate and build on my ideas. Blogger also allowed me to brand my blogs and personalise them to my artist, this helped me build on my artist and her genre and music style. This also helped shape my plot for my music video, it also tracks my progress and thought process.

Time toast

I used timetoast to create a production schedule. This recorded what would be done on each day, this was very useful as it ensured everything was covered and done on time. This meant the project was more organised and scheduled to ensure no mistakes were made and there was time allowed in case we needed to re-film etc.

I used youtube to conduct research. I looked at numerous videos of similar genres to understand what conventions should be followed and what was typiccal of the genre and style of my artist.Lots of these videos also provided inspiration for the music video, our main inspiration was Jhene Aiko - Comfort Inn Ending

Premiere pro

I used premiere pro to edit my music video, this allowed me to apply filter to my video (I used colour correction to increase brightness and creat contrast between the different scenes) and crop clips and put them in the correct order. I also applied slow motion, and jump cuts to create effect in premiere pro. I could also put the clips over the music to create the foundation of the music video.

Photoshop

I used photoshop to edit photos for my ancillary, this allowed me to apply black and white filters onto the photos. It also helped my put together my digipak and put text over the top of my images.

I used wix to create my website as part of my ancillary products. This allowed to created and develop my artists brand image.
