  • My Birth

    My Birth
Video of places on the Island
I was born prematurely in my house on the Island of Roatan. I was a twin, but sadly my twin brother died shortly after he was born. I was then rushed to the hospital in La Ceiba, on the mainland, to recieve the care I needed. I was released 40 days later, and went to my home on the Island. The Doctor that tended to me almost killed me, my parents had him for mal practice. He was also exiled from El Sal

  • Chilling with sis and daddy :)

Chilling with sis and daddy :)
My dad would play with us as he watched TV. My sister and I were very vreative when it came to playing. Instead of using toys, we would use brushes and clips to fix our parents' hair, shoes as boats or cars, tv remotes as boats, etc. I was a lot of fun.

  • Going swimming with my family

    Going swimming with my family
Even before I could swim well enough to be on my own, my parents would take us swimming, and I loved it. The only problem was getting a really bad sunburn because my skin was/is so white.
  • Sabbath before Christmas!

    Sabbath before Christmas!
This was our old house where I was born. I have a lot of fun memories of this house, including the time I learned not to eat pepper. My dad had just finished eating and left to continue working outside, I realized this and went straight for his fork. Little did I know it had a liquid pepper on it that was really hot. I learned my lesson. Then in December 1991, we moved into our new house, which was built right next door to this one.
  • Peanut Butter Time

    Peanut Butter Time
I apparently I thought it would be interesting to look at and feel the texture of peanut butter. Experiment= succesful. My mom didn't get mad, she laughed when she what I did. Apparently I experimented a lot with different stuff, inlcuding baby powder, shampoo, soap, perfume, oil, pretty much whatever I could get my hands on. My mom said I had my own lab with a little bit of everything.
  • A Child's Only Dream

    A Child's Only Dream
One of the best vacations my family took was when I was four years old. Yes, we went to Disney World, then took a long road trip to Louisiana to visit family there.
  • My Dad's New Boat

    My Dad's New Boat
My Dad bought a new boat and he taught me how to maneuver it to get out of the reef into the the deep blue, by 1998 I was a pro.
  • Halloween

    Halloween
We celebrated Halloween until I was 8 or 9. Here I was dressed a Princess with her very own horse, which I named Phillip. My mom would have me "neighing" for other people to see. It was pretty funny. My sister and my cousin/best-friend were dressed as Cat-Woman. We were on our way to a Halloween party one of my aunts was having.
  • Birthday Celebration

    Birthday Celebration
Since our birth dates are close together, our parents would celebrate out birthday together. That year was themed "Beauty and the Beast". Our pinata was Mrs. Pots, and I remember wanting to hide it because I didn't anyone to beat her for candy. Unfortunately I lost that battle, but I got caught up in the excitement and had a lot of fun getting all of the candy I could for being so small.
  • Sabbath before Christmas

    Sabbath before Christmas
This Christmas was in our new house, right next door from the old one. If you notice my bangs, you can tell they are short in this picture. The reason being: my cousin/best-friend decided to play a hairdresser and cut my bangs really short, gladly they were almost to their normal length here. I learned never to let her mess with hair while having a scissors in her hand. She was dangerous.
  • Easter Sunday!

    Easter Sunday!
Easter Sunday is something really big back home. We would wake up early in the morning while my mom was boiling the eggs and get dressed in our new swimsuit, and color the eggs after we were ready. As you can see, I wasn't very photogenic and I knew it, so I would make silly faces all the time.
  • Pena Blanca!

    Pena Blanca!
This was a trip to Pena Blanca where there's an Adventist interned school. Three of my cousins attended this school, one graduating every year from 1995 to 1997. We were able to attend the graduation of my oldest boy cousin Joey's graduation. The whole family on my dad's side went. It was very fun.
  • Copan Ruins!

    Copan Ruins!
A Look At The Ruins Of Copan I try to go there as often as I can. It is a very beautiful place and the town next to it is amazing. The little town is filled with such old fashioned culture and the people are wonderful. Also, the coffee here is home-grown and it's the best coffee I've tasted in my life. The food here is also amazing, and everything is made from scratch, which makes it even more delicious.
  • My Cousin's Wedding

    My Cousin's Wedding
My cousin Wendy got married in my family's yard. It was a very eventful year for our family. It began with this wedding, then the birth of my baby cousin, then a Hurricane in October, the graduation of my sister from the 6th grade in November, and later ended with the sad death of my grandfather in December.
  • My Sister Tyanne's Graduation

A Boat Ride to the Other Island: Guanaja
Dance of Hurricane MitchDetails about Hurricane Mitch In this picture we're on our way back from the other island Guanaja after the hurricane. My grandmother on my dad's side was from Guanaja, so we have family over there. There's no cars where they live because the little key in whoch everyone lives is too small for roads. There are only walking roads there. Guanaja was hit hardest by Hurricane Mitch in October of 1998.
  • My 6th Grade Graduation!

    My 6th Grade Graduation!

  • Ashton is born!

    Ashton is born!
From the day he was born, Ashton has been a very big part of my life. He would stay weeks at a time with me because his mother was studying and his father (my cousin( was working). I was, and still am, his babysitter. There wasn't, and still isn't, anything I wouldn't do for him. He's most like my baby of all the kids a take care off becuase he has actually lived with me for a great amount of time. Whenever I go home, he is waiting for me with a smile and a hug. He is a blessing to my life.

  • My High School Graduation!

    My High School Graduation!
My High School Graduation wasn't anything big either. I had a lot of fun the month before my graduation with my friends, we only had to go in to "plan" the graduation but we didn't have a say in whatever they did so we just hung out a lot and was driving all over the island havng fun. That month is one of the best memories I have of my friends.
  • My first time Riding a Horse!

My first time Riding a Horse!
I was terrified! I made the man walk the horse because I couldn't do it on my own. It was, overall, a great experience, and it was free! This was my third and last trip to Copan Ruins sadly. I hope I get to go again one day in the near future.
