This is important because it is one of the first and main reasons France decided to rebel against their government since they thought it was unfair

    The storming of Bastille marked the beginning of the French Revolution. It occurred near a prison in Paris, France. This is important because it marks one of the firsts battles of the French Revolution marking the start of the fight between the poor and the rich.

Motivated more by fear than by idealism, they joined other members of the National Assembly in sweeping away the feudal privileges of the First and Second Estates, making commoners equal to noble and the clergy. This is important because people are regaining their freedom and liberties within their community since they eliminated the differences in social classes.

As well, it was also based on the "natural right", the rights of man are held to be universal: valid at all times and in every place, pertaining to human nature itself. The was very important because it marks the beginning of equality between everyone in France.

    Thousands of Parisian women rioted over the rising price of bread. Brandishing knives, axes and other weapons, the women marched on Versailles. First they turned their anger against the National Assembly, then they turned their anger to the king and queen and broke into their palace.This was very important because it was another of the reasons that people decided rebel against their government since food was running scarce wishing the low social classes.

    Louis XVI Tries to Flee
    Louis XVI attempts to flee to Varennes but is recognised and forcibly returned to Paris. Appalled by the growing radicalism of the revolution, particularly its anti-clericalism, Louis XVI agreed to escape from the city. The plan was to travel by coach to Montmedy, a fortress near the border with Germany that was garrisoned by royalist troops. This was important because not letting the king leave made the people of France be heard and therefore act so that their government would become better.

This is important because the people now have a vote and say in their community since they are officially trying to eliminate absolute monarchy.

    Louis XVI was executed in the guillotine, took place on at the Place de la Revolution. His execution made him the first victim of the Reign of Terror. The Reign of Terror was a time of violence that was after the onset of the French Revolution This is important because if this death would not have occurred, then the rest of the revolution would be different because he was the person who controlled everything, but now without him, the "Reign of Terror" began.

In period of bad harvests, it would lead to food scarcity which would prompt the masses to revolt. This was very important because the food supplies were lacking because the government wasn't paying that much attention to the people, so they decided to rebel again.

    Convention calls for arrest of Robespierre. Robespierre attempts insurrection which flops, is arrested and executed. After about 150 of his supporters are done away with, the Terror is over. This is very important because he was the one who was causing all of the terror around France, therefore, with this death the terror was over and France would soon gain more people since less people would be killed.
