    The first meeting of the French estates-general. Which was a general assembly representing the French estates of the realm: divided in three estates. First the clergy, second the nobles, and finaly third the common people.

    Located in Versailles France the third estate deputies who represent commners and the lower clergy meet at an indoor tennis court. Thethird estate deputies and commeners took an oath not to stop functioning until a new French constitution was chosen.

    The French Revolution lasted about 10 years from 1789 to 1799. The dictatorship was ruled by Napolean and the people were no longer rules as monarchy now they were rules by the republic.

    The declaration of rights of man is a fundamental document part of the French Revolution and also part of the Human Rights. It expresses the rights of the men. It was influenced by Thomas Jefferson.

    A large group of French women came together in Paris what happended after was one of the most viloent acts in the Fench Revolution. They were about 6000 women that marched to Versailles armed with pitchforks, swords, pikes and other dangerous weapons. They were marching due to the increase of price on a slice of bread. After seeing all the women marching the king sent tons of bread from Versailles to Paris.

    Due to the popular demands Louis XVI (king of France) had to move from Versailles to the Tuileries in Paris. But still he didnt follow the rules he was soposed to follow. He tried escaping the capital but was caught in Varennes. After he was brought back to Paris were he lost the power of being a constitutional monarch.

    Louis XVI acepts the first constitution in France. He acepts it by the motives that France would imporve. By improve I mean the society would get better

    The Europen Monarchs wanted war because they thought it would unify the country and bring them together. That is when France's government declaed war with Austria. They fought poorly at first but after the war progressed.

    The execution of Loius XVI took place in the revolution square in Paris. Paris was not good at that time there was alot of problems. For example the economy went down, the crops failed, and the bread price increased. Everyone blames Marie Antonette Louis's wife
