    300 repsentatives were at this meeting, held at Versialles.
  • People of Paris attacked Bastille

    This was a symbol of polticial oppression.
  • The Third Estate bceomes the National Assembly

    Because of this Louis XVI orders them to be locked out the meeting room.
  • The National Assembly ends feudalism

  • National Assembly declares the Declaration of te Rights of Man

  • Paris women invaded Versailles

    These women demanded the royal family to move to Paris.
  • Civil Constitution of the Clergy was passed

    Its purpose was to raise money and end the special privleges of the clergy. It also created new church structures.
  • Louis XVI and his family try to flee Paris and are arrested.

    Louis was placed under house arrest after being stopped at Vatennes trying to flee.

    Robespierre was arrested and was beheaded, Over 20,000 people were sentenced to death.

    Established the Directors. It was made up of an excutive and legislative branch. They were in power for four years. They were led by Napolean, and end radical forms.
