    The Mob thought that there was gunpowder in the Bastille, and when they wanted to go in the commander of the Bastille wouldn't let them, he opened fire on the mob. The Mob eventually killed the commander and 5 guards. The fall of the Bastille was a wake up call to Louis XVI.

    The assembly issued the Declaration of Rights Of Man and the Citizen.
    Six thousand women marched from Paris to Versailles to bring the king back to Paris.
