HS Graduation
Graduated from Western High School in Latham, Ohio. I loved high school and every May, I remember how sad I was when I graduated. It has been 20 years since graduation. -

I graduated from Shawnee State University with my Bachelor's in Social Sciences. Graduated summa cum laude! -
Family
Had my second child... a little girl which completed my family with now a son and daughter 2 years apart. I began staying at home with them for the next 5 years. Currently, Sophie is 14 and Ian is 16. -
Master's Degree
I decided instead of substitute teaching nearly every day that I would go back to school and become a teacher. I completed my Master's degree with straight As in Special Education. This enabled me to have the job of my dreams! I currently teach Multiple Disabilities at Waverly Intermediate. I have students from kindergarten to 5th grade. -
School Psych
I may have lost my mind but I decided to join a cohort with Marshall University and obtain my EdS in School Psychology. This was an opportunity I didn't feel I could pass up. Thankfully, this summer will be the end of my classes and will begin my internship this fall! -
RESA
Finished my RESA!! This current class I am taking through SSU will finish my requirements so I am able to obtain a long-term teaching license in Ohio. -
Completion of EDRE 2204
Last day of class! I hope I have learned how to teach reading better to my students. I want to be able to instill phonics in those I teach to help them be stronger readers and communicators.
