Freshman Year of College ~ CSI
Thusfar, my history in college! -
Fun Week
I enjoyed meeting new people, and beginning my job at the CSI Recreation Center. I also got to go to a few events such as paint twister, and a CSI bonfire. -
Final Exams First Semester
I finished up all of my first classes at CSI and managed to get a B in biology which I was extatic about. Biology is still the hardest class I have taken at CSI. After taking my finals this week I was able to go home and be with my family for Christmas and that was pretty special. -
Second Semester of College Career
This semester was when I really started taking Elementary Education specific classes and I found out that teaching was definitely in my future. This semester was the first time I met a couple of my favorite professor's I have ever had. -
My Favorite Classes
This was when I realized that I truly had been blessed with the best classes and the best instructors this semester. I loved all of my education classes, especially my field experience class because I actually got a taste of what being a teacher would actually be like and I fell in love with the kids that I worked with. -
Finals Second Semester
My G.P.A. improved from last semester to this semester and it was nice to see some academic growth. I ended the semester strong and in love with CSI. -
Registration for Sophmore Year?
Over this summer I worked 50+ hour work weeks and basically drained myself trying to get ahead a little financially and hopefully save up for a small vacation. My car broke down and instead of getting to go on vacation or saving money, I had to spend the majority of my earnings on replacing my engine. I wasn't sure if I would be able to afford to go back to college, but ended up deciding to stick with it at the last moment possible. -
First Semester Sophmore Year
I am doing better than I ever have in my college career and have managed to get straight A's for midterms while working a part-time job at Slice. Success!
