    John Cabot affected the Britain by claiming Newfoundland leading to immigration of British coming to the land.

    Jacques Cartier(Born 1491 and died 1557)
    He lead an Expedition to finding the gulf of Montreal River.
    Affecting the French by colonizing a part of Canada which is now known as Quebec.

    Samuel de Champlain Explored the great lakes of Canada and established friendly relations with Aboriginal people. Samuel de Champlain also wrote four books too in this time exploring. Samuel affected the French to helping them gain power by foundering New France. Also affecting the aboriginal people by making relations with them.

    Hudson Bay Company was granted a charter by Britain making it a British Company which they have control over. It Affected the British by getting a lot of resources from the company which they got a lot of fur which was in advance in British clothing.

    The First global war that was in America, Europe and India. In North America the war was against the British and the French fighting for land and resources. Which was also in Europe at the same time fighting against each other. It affected the British by making them in dept. The French it affected them by establishing the treaty of Paris. The first nations where also affected by fighting with both British and French leading to a lot of their kind killed in the war.

    The Royal Proclamation was issued by King George lll to establish a government for North America. It also helped with negations with the first nation people. The proclamation made sure that the Aboriginals would get security of their land. The Proclamation affected the first nations because they got security on their land. It also affected the British by shaping how the colonies where made and handled as long with the French.

    British Immigration to Canada was when people that were British and from other Countries from Europe Immigrated from Europe to Canada in looking for a new start in life in Canada. The reason they immigrated to Canada is because Europe was getting to full and they weren't getting that much money because their was so many people their. So it affected the British by expanding People through Canada making the Canadian colonies big and making the British bigger with land.

    Confederation to Canada it was when 36 men known today as the Fathers of Confederation. These Men represented North America British Colonies in the Charlestown conference, Quebec Conference and the London Conference. The Conferences were making rules and regulations for each Province making them separated from each other. This affected the British by making it easier for them to handle situations for each colony.

So that they can show their culture instead of assimilating to the British ways. This affects the British because in the end which lead to province of Manitoba. It also lead to a lot of fighting and riots which lead to killings of Metis

The exchange was that the First nations agreed for Industrial Revolution and white settlement on their land. The Aboriginal people got their traditional land back and also cash payments and Fishing and hunting tools

This lead to the Canadian government trying to assimilate the first nations into Christianity spending there children to Residence schools. So basically didn't allow them to show their traditional colors. This affected them by sending them their culture and religion in a mess leading to them getting their own reserves as they live now

    Residential schools is a school for Aboriginal children to assimilate them. The schools were ran by the Christians trying to assimilate them to be Christian. This affected the Aboriginals by affecting how the first nations speak both English and their native language. They also have problems because they were assaulted when they went to the Residential schools too leading to hate towards Christian in their group.

    The Northwest Rebellion was a five month Rebel against the Canadian government which was lead by Louis Riel and the Metis. It is caused by fear that the metis will lose their security and for their rights with the white west settlers moving west near their land. This affected the British by working with the metis to get them to not go violence and also make them like the new settlers. This also affected the metis by not trusting the Canadian government and protesting.

    A Commission Established in 1991 in the wake of Osaka Crisis. The Commission was to put effective research to developing the history of first nations. To also to tell all the People in Canada about history and how it affected the aboriginals. This affected the first nations and started talking about their stories of their history of imperialism and Assimilation.

    Residential schools finally close down as they realize how it is harming the first nations. The main reason it was shut down because when the royal commission came out everyone saw the residential schools really were like. Then that people were outraged by what they did to the first nations. This affected the first nations by healing them so than they have a better relationship with the government of Canada. This also changed Canada by showing that they care for the First nations.

    The commission was suppose to help the healing problems of the Aboriginal people and the public for knowing what they did with the residential schools. The Commission was the Canadian government and the aboriginals. The Canadian government purposed to give offers like money and days were Aboriginals celebrate their culture to help the healing process. This affects the first nations and Canadian government by both helping the relationship between them and healing with each other.
