The Beothuk Peoples were located in the Newfoundland Cnada, where they were shortly kiled off by europeans through violnve and diesease. This is important to Canada because it was a tribe that was killed for the land, they became extinct due to the actions we took. This effects the Canadian identity because Canada has apoligized for what they have done to the First Nations people and has made special arrangments for them.
