The fur trade happend because the Europeans needed furs and the Natives needed hatchets and other tools so they traded with each other. the people who played a part in the fur trade were the Europeans the Huron Indians and the French.

The effects on the physical environment were that the aboriginal people were killing a lot more animals then they needed including the Otter, which was wiped out on the BC Coast. They also seriously depleted other animals, including the Beaver and Marten.

The Fraser/Cariboo Gold Rush happend because a man in tatterd cloths struck gold and the news spread quickly. The countrys that played a part in the gold rush where Canada, the US, Europe, and China.

The conflict that ocured during the gold rush was that for a while it looked like a war was going to break out between the Aboriginal people and the miners. But the the Aboriginals let the miners share the river with them.

The Act was created by a Federal Dominion and it defines much of the operation of the government of Canada, Including its federal structure, the house of commons, the senate, the justice system and the taxation system. It gave Canada most of the powers of an independent country, but not all of them. Canada did not have the power to change its own Constitution.

The first Nations people rebelled because the CPR wanted to move them to a new reserve so they could build the Railroad.The rebellion continued for a couple months.The Natives ended up losing and were put in jail.There families moved to the new reserve.

The Constitution Act of 1982 includes the Charter of Rights and Freedoms which is intended to protect rights of people in Canada. It includes the aboriginal rights clause which protects the rights, activities, practice or traditions of Aboriginals. No one is allowed to violate these rights, not even the government.
