    The Famous FIve were Five women who stood up for women's Rights and freedom. Thier five names were: Emily Murphy, Nellie MClung,Henrietta Muir Edwards, Louis Mckinney, and Irene Parlby. The "Person's Case", was the case where the were arguing with thegovernment. at the time, women weren't allowed to to stuff. So, How did they shape Canada's Identity? Well, they had made women Free, and defined as "Person" . They had won the case On October 18, 1929.

    When Canada went out, they only had 3000 men, And very scarce weapons. So, Great Britain had sent 25,000 men to go into Canada's army. At the time, Canada Was fighting for britain.33,000 Canadians had volenteered to go to war. A few moments later, Canada started defentding it's own country. Because pf this war, Canada had formed it's Military. By, 1916, Canada had enough men to form fur divisions. Canada's reputation went up as a fighting Force. The war ended on Nov 11th, 1918

    The U.S.A had youtubesince companies were shutting down, cause they didn't have enough money. Cause of that, food was WAY MORE expensive, so that meant more people got sick, and died. it ended when WW2 started, On September 3, 1939. The Great depression had shaped Canada's Identity in a bad way. Companies and governments lost $396,000,000. People were left homeless,And Financial Crisises were born.Families saw most or all of their assets dirssapeer.

    WW2 had earned an outstanding reputatipon for the Canadians. The Great Depression had stopped cause of The war, that meant itt helped alot of people financially. During WW2, Since Hitler was from Gremany, German Canadians were announced as "Enemies" (Wich they really weren't.). Canada Had spent over $10,00,00 in weapons, and aid. General motors had made over ONE MILLION trucks in Oshawa. After the war, those trucks helped in alot of stuff. Canada had made an alliance with U.S.A during the war.

    The Canadian Flag Didn't Really change the economy, but changed pride and shape. Peple had agued about what the flag should be since 1891, and over 3,541 flags were submitted! 2,136 had maple leaves, 408 had Union Jacks, 389 had beavers, and 359 had lilies. It was hard to choose for The government, but none of them acually seemed to have the "True Canadian Spirit". But , the one on left, is the one they chose. The chose this because for some reason it seemed to have the True Canadian spirit.

    The Charter of Rights And freedoms was When EVERYONE in Canada Was given Their rights and freedoms. Queen Elizabeth II had signed the Charter on April 17, 1982. Some Rights were:Every citizen of Canada has the right to vote in an election, There shall be a sitting of Parliament and of each legislature at least once every twelve months, Every Canadian Has the right to enter, remain in, or leave canada.There shall be a sitting of Parliament and of each legislature at least once every twelve month

    Every Canadian has the right to leave, enter and remain in Canada, etc. etc. Without the Charter of rights and Freedoms, Canda will not Be the Free Country As we know it.

    The Creation of Nunavut
    Nunavut was created because All of the inuit coudn't be involved in anything, since the Capital of North West Territories was so far away.So, The inuit had told the Parliment, that they want to be involved too. Besides, it was their country anyway. Nunavut in inuit language means "Our Land". Nunavut has shaped Canada by letting he inuit and First nations Vote and Participate in other events, instead of just ignoring them completly.
