This is the conference where all of Britain's Dominions met and the conference of 1923 is where King made his point clear that he wanted Canada's name on the treaty of Halibut and not Britains since it had nothing to do with them -
King-Byng Crisis
Byng was ignoring King's requests so he wanted to change the roles of the Governing General to being a part of the Canadian council and not the British council which means Canada could now speak to Britain directly and without having to go through someone else -
Balfour Report
At the Imperial Conference King also brought up the point that British Dominions should be able to make their own decisions and the result of this was that Canada became a self governing nation giving Canada the freedom it deserves -
Statute of Westminster
The British parliament passed the Statute of Westminster which put the Balfour Report into action making Canada a fully functioning self governing nation
