American Revolution
Canada was now promoting that they had stopped with the slavery of black people (not legally) and Canada was now a safe zone for all blacks. Especially during the American Revolution (1775-1783.) If they came to Canada the British had promised them land, freedom and rights to slaves and free blacks in exchange for helping them fight against the Americans during the revolution. Many Blacks served as boatmen, woodsmen, general labourers, buglers and musicians. -

almost 150 years later Slavery is legally abolished within Canada. Black enslavement ends this saved nearly 800 thousand black people , but they still don’t quite get treated like the white people. They do the most of the dirty jobs and get paid very poorly .They also cant go to the same school as white people -

KKK enters Canada.(a racially discriminatory organization usually formed by white christian men. They think they're superior to all religions and races. They wear a uniform of all white with a mask and cone hood to hide their identity. They usually target black people (also jews and minorites) and become very violent and cruel towawrds them. (tie their victims to a giant wooden cross and burn them) -
Blacks Accepted in the Military
Initially, the Canadian military rejected Black volunteers, but as the war continued, many Blacks were accepted into the Army. While there was still some segregation in the Canadian forces until the end of the war, hundreds of Black Canadians served alongside Whites in Canada -
Racial Discrimation Act
it prohibited the publication and display of any symbol, sign, or notice that expressed ethnic, racial, or religious discrimination. -
