  • Prenatal Development- Parents create their third child

    Parents were not actively trying but did want more children.
  • Prenatal Development- Due Date

    This was the day I was suppose to be born
  • Birth- My actual day of birth

    Docotors were going to induce my mother the next day but she went into labor naturally. Born 9lb 8 oz.
  • First 2 years- Psychosocial- Mom goes back to work

    Mom starts teaching again and I am cared for by grandma and babysitters.
  • First 2 years- Biosocial- recieving foods in addition to breast milk

    Parents state I was always hungry and started to include foods other than breast milk.
  • First 2 years- Cognitive- First words

    Started using words like "momma", "dada", and "baba".
  • Early Childhood- Biosocial- Fell and cracked my head open

    While home with mom, I was running to her and tripped over a rug causing me to fall into one of our tables. I required stitches to the side of my head
  • Early Childhood- Cognitive- Being read to

    My mother and siblings read to me almsot everynight. My sister was 3 years older than me, and my brother was six. My mom would have them read to practice thier reading skills.
  • Early Childhood- Psychosocial- First dog died

    I had a dog since I was born. I remember gooing to the vet for my first dog where we had t put her down because her stomach had flipped. This was a tough expereince for me. We got another dog a few months later.
  • Middle Childhood- Cognitive- Learning to read

    My mother attempted to teach me how to read, like she taught my two older siblings. I wanted to learn the way my teacher was teaching me. I am not as good of a reader as my siblings are.
  • Middle Childhood- Biosocial- Overweight

    I was a very big kid, boderline obese. I was active playing with my siblings as well as danc, but I also ate a lot.
  • Middle Childhood- Psychosocial- Being teased

    In class my friend and I were sharing a snack of cheez-its. I don't know how exactly this name got developed but a boy in the class started calling me "cheez-it". This became a hurtful name that the whole grade would use. I specifically remmeber at the end of the year the whole grade chanting the name at our party in the lake. This name stuck with me even into highschool years, although it improved each time I entered into a new grade.
  • Adolescence: Cognitive- Advanced Math

    I worked really hard and did really well in math during middle school. Thus they put me in the advanced math that was a year ahead of what I was learning. I enjoyed math but in high school they had way too many math problems for homework that took much longer to complete. I knew the material but did not do well in the classes.
  • Adolescence: Biosocial- First boyfriend

    As many highschool relationships this only last about a month.
  • Adolescence: Psychosocial- Depression

    Highschool was very hard for me and I guess I was one of those over weight, social akward nerds, with family problems. I didn't have a lot of friends and they switch from year to year. I had a lot fo moments where I was very unhappy with my life and debated on suicide for a little while. I still have a "pro and con list" for ending my life. I couldn't ever imagine going back to thinking like that.
  • Emerging Adulthood: Biosocial- Developed a healthy lifestyle

    After being overweight my whole life, I had a colelge class where the professor assigned us to pick a self affirmation. I chose to devleop a healthy lifestlye and lose 30 pounds by the end of the semester. I did not lose the 30 but I did lose 25 and continued my weight loss to losing over 50 pounds in tha year. I have kept that weight off for over 5 years.
  • Emerging Adulthood: Cognitive- Bachelors Degree

    Walking for graduation. Finshing all course work except my internship for my Bachelors degree. Compelted my internship by the following year.
  • Emerging Adulthood: Psychosocial- Talks of Marriage

    Relationship of 3 years, wanting to advance the relationship but not being stable enough for follow through.
  • Adulthood: Cognitive- Graduating with Master's Degree

    Graduated with Master's degree and finding a great job.
  • Adulthood: Psychosocial- Getting Married

    Getting married after longer term dating. Back yard wedding.
  • Adulthood: Biosocial- Pregnant with first child

    Pregnant with first child. Excited to find out if it's a boy or a girl.
  • Late Adulthood: Psychosocial- Landscaping/Decorating award

    A local newspaper awards me the best decorated yard for the holiday season. Since I am retired I am able spend most of my time with landscaping and decorating my house.
  • Late Adulthood: Biosocial- Knee Replacement

    My knee is finally bad enough that the best solution is a knee replacement.
  • Late Adulthood: Cognitive- Developing Dementia

    My cognition begins to slip however my children and grandchildren help care of me rather than being put into a nursing home.
  • Epilogue: Death and Dying

    Death at home while asleep.
