Egypt became the first Arab country to recognize Israel and to enter into a peace treaty with it. Egypt’s President realized that a continuing state of war with Israel was harming the Egyptian economy and the well-being of his people. Because of that they decided to sign a peace treaty -

1994- Israel and Jordan Sign a Peace Treaty
Egypt and Israel sign another peace treaty. The treaty brought Jordan and Israel to peace. And Jordan became the second Arab country to recognize Israel. -
2000- The camp David summit
Bill Clinton brought the leaders of Israel and Palestine to camp David to discuss the final plan for peace. All negotiations were secret. After the discussion everything was okay. -
2002- Israel Begins Constructing a Security Barrier
Isael begins constructing a barrier that will separate the citizens from the terroists. For those who have to cross the barrier to get to work or home have to go through a checkpoint. -
2002- Israel disengages from Gaza
The isreaeli left Gaza so the Palestanians could govern themselves. The amount of terroristic attacks and rocket shootings increased when the isreaeli left.
