The First Crusade was an attempt to re-capture Jerusalem. The Muslims captured Jerusalem in 1076. Jerusalem was full of Christians but Muslims were surrounding it, so travel became very difficult for Christians. -

A tribunal in 1478 by Catholic Monarchs. It was supposed to maintain Catholic orthodoxy in the kingdoms. -
The Six- Day War (1967)
A war fought between Israel and the neighboring states of Egypt. At the end of the war Israel had won the Gaza Strip and Sinai Peninsula. -
The Yom Kippur War (1973)
Egypt and Syria did a surprise attack on Israel. Along the Suez canal, 434 Israeli defenders were attacked by 80,000 Egyptians. -
The 9/11 Attacks (2001)
The Muslims had a surprise attack on America. They picked the two of the tallest buildings in New York City and ran two planes into the Twin Towers, destroying them.
