Developing neurons

Born premature at 4lbs, 7 ounces. Had jaundice and had to remain in the hospital for 1 week. I was born 5 minutes before my sister Sheila.

Biosocial Development begins from rolling over, to standing up, and walking.

Shelley and Sheila show love and affection. Started giving kisses to eachother.

Shelley's first word was "pretty."

Starting to color and draw

Everything was done together with my twin from playing, bathing, eating, etc.

My Mom surprised with our first dog, I named her Scruffy. She was an apricot color cocka-poo and she was the best.

Started gymnastics in the fall of 1984 when I was 6 years old. I went to Michigan Academy of Gymnastics. I was there until I was 12 years old.

began to pick out my own clothes, cared about my hairstyle and even tried to cut my own bangs.

I loved my 5th grade teacher and enjoyed my math class.

Social acceptance was a concern. Some of us wanted to be popular and socially accepted.

In College and sturuggling to declare a major

Received my certification as an Aesthetician and started working at a medi-spa and a salon and day spa

As I got older I realized how important my family was to me. I was an Aunt and missed my niece and nephews very much. I moved my home where all of my family resides.

I realized I can further my career as an Aesthetician by becoming a nurse. In other states, to do my job currently, you have to be an RN. I would like to be ahead of the game if Michigan state laws change. Also, it's alway good to learn more and be able to do more within your job.

I was a Physician's Assistant. I worked under a Dermatologist who specialized in Moh's surgery and anti-aging treatments

Unfortunately, my husband, who was a few years older than me had passed away.

In order to keep myself busy and not feel lonely, Shelley joined a senior center to stay active and around friends. The company and games was important for my mind and brain stimulation.
