Born premature at 4lbs, 7 ounces. Had jaundice and had to remain in the hospital for 1 week. I was born 5 minutes before my sister Sheila. -

Started gymnastics in the fall of 1984 when I was 6 years old. I went to Michigan Academy of Gymnastics. I was there until I was 12 years old. -

Received my certification as an Aesthetician and started working at a medi-spa and a salon and day spa -
Moved back to Michigan
As I got older I realized how important my family was to me. I was an Aunt and missed my niece and nephews very much. I moved my home where all of my family resides. -
Went back to school
I realized I can further my career as an Aesthetician by becoming a nurse. In other states, to do my job currently, you have to be an RN. I would like to be ahead of the game if Michigan state laws change. Also, it's alway good to learn more and be able to do more within your job. -

I was a Physician's Assistant. I worked under a Dermatologist who specialized in Moh's surgery and anti-aging treatments -
Shelley becomes widowed
Unfortunately, my husband, who was a few years older than me had passed away. -
Shelley joins a senior center
In order to keep myself busy and not feel lonely, Shelley joined a senior center to stay active and around friends. The company and games was important for my mind and brain stimulation.
