    The men in the relief camps did not have good work conditions so the men wanted to go to Ottawa to complain. As the train travelled to Ottawa more and more men got on. The PM stopped the train in Regina and met with just the leaders in Ottawa. The meeting did not go well. The PM wanted other leaders arrested in Regina and a riot broke out. This was a bad thing for Canada because the government would not listen to workers.

    When Canada and the Allies wanted to invade France, Canada took over Juno Beach. They sent in paratroopers first, then bombed the beaches by air, and the destroyers bombed from the sea. The soldiers landed on the beaches and took over the town of Caen. This was good for Canada because we were able to take back France.
