    Spanish Flu hit Canada in Sept 9.1918. Over thousdands of people died from pneumonia. That time to avoid spreading the flu--School, threatres, and churches were closed. Public health departments and clinics aroos the country were flooded with the number of sick and dying people. about 50,000 Canadians died during the epidemic.
  • Winnipeg General Strike

    Winnipeg General Strike
    In15 May-25 June 1919, Winnipeg General Strike had started. They wanted to improve working and living conditions. Such ideas for change drew suspicion from wealthier citizens like decent wages (85 cents per hour) and eight hours a day. The Winnipeg od one thousand were determined to crush the strike. There were a lot of people trying to push the bus over because they are pissed. After five day, the Central Strike Committee ordered the workers back to their job. The general strike was over.

However in 1930, R.B Bennett won the election and had said to the people that he is a bad P.M. But in the election of 1935 , He won the elections again and gaid the power to controoled Canada.

A big group of man workers planned to trek to ottaa so they can see R.B., but R.B told the train driver tom stop in Regina and had told them to send 8 leader in the group and go to talk to him.later on , the meeting didnt went well and the man workers are mad at him.

    Bennett had a new idea to make people vote for him. Everyone in Canada are angery at the Prime Minister R.B. Bennett, becuase the workers doesnt have a job. But too bad In 1935, Mackenzie King had won the election again because of R.B's behavior to the people.
