  • what was your first word?

    my first word was daddy. he rubs it in my mother's face all the time.
  • what were some strategies that your parents used to increase your vocabulary?

    they read to me every night and always would talk to me. for example, my mother would say words like dog and apple when i started identifying them as daddy and momma.
  • what is your first memory? when did that occur?

    i remember being in the car seat in the back of my mother's car and riding downtown i was 3 almost 4 years old.
  • How would you define your attachment to your primary caregiver? Securely or insecurely? How did your attachment affect your development across all developmental periods?

    it was securely, i was sheltered as a child so i was always attached to her. this has caused me to still emulate that behavior till this day.
  • Thinking back to your childhood, what strategies did your parents use when discussing emotions? Were they emotion-coaching or emotion-dismissing?

    they didn't really talk about that kind of stuff. they were certainly emotion-dismissing. whenever anything having to do with feelings came up the topic was dismissed.
  • Does knowing your IQ change how you think about yourself? How did your IQ effect your schooling?

    no it doesn't im going to be me no matter what. I almost skipped 1st grade because my IQ was off the charts.

  • Physical development: What types of activities did you complete to encourage gross/fine motor skills at infancy, early child hood, middle childhood, adolescence, and early adulthood?

    i always played some type of sports (basketball, baseball) throughout every time period. my mom also keep me busy in summer programs like bible school and the arts on westside
  • Based on individual development, physical development, when did you first notice a decline in your senses? What caused this to occur?

    whenever i had to ask my parents to repeat themselves. i was in the band in high school and our room was so small so all that loud music probably caused this plus i listen to my headphones really loud.
  • Infancy-Young Adulthood - How many hours did you normally sleep?

    i went from sleeping 10-11 hrs to sleeping 6-7 in young adulthood. i was very socially involved in young adulthood thats why
  • When did you hit puberty and how did it affect your relationships and development?

    i was a late bloomer. i hit puberty at 15. i started acting different with everybody i was close with and started to develop a sense of self.
  • What were/are some dialect terms (jargon/slang) that you use/d among your friends (words that only your friends/family would understand in a certain context? What does those terms mean and in what context would you use it?

    words like Fatty and wiggin. Fatty refers to a woman having a nice big butt and wiggin refers to somebody acting lame or tripping.
  • Across developmental periods- What were some strategies that you used to cope with stress across all periods?

    listen to music mostly or try to have alone time as much as possible to clear my head.
  • What types of memory strategies did you use all across developmental periods?

    repetition that's the best memory strategy to use.
  • Know your family's health history. How does it effect you? How do you prevent it as an early adult?

    the health problems were really on my dad's side. largely because they smoked cigarettes and suffered from lung and cardiovascular disease. if i don't do that then i should be fine.

  • If you have experienced a loss, how did that effect you? Development?

    i lost my grandmother and she was the only grandparent i knew and i just didnt handle it well. my mental was messed up for months after she passed
  • Did the results reflect an accurate representation of yourself? What are the characteristics that have remained consistent from childhood (temperamental) to early adulthood (eg. open to exploring the environment)?

    yes they did, temperamental stayed the same i've always been a moody person
  • What is your current identity status ? Do you identify with identity achievement, moratorium, etc.? Why?

    i identify with identity achievement whenever i find something i relate to it just makes everything better.

    Sensorimotor: crawl around the house. Preoperational: ride a bike. Concrete Operational: play with action figures. Formal Operational: go to the movies
