On February 25th at 5 pm, my mother welcomed a screaming bundle of prematurity into the world. Her due date was in May so my birth was a bit of a shock. I was sick for a while, but grew to be a healthy baby girl.

My step dad adopted me in the fifth grade. There is a funny story behind the whole process we went through. The judge thought I was a hoot. I am definitely a daddy's girl!

As a sophomore in high school I started working a job 40hrs/week. It was hard at times, but I still managed to graduate third in my class.
