    C.E Conquest of Aztecs

    The Spanish conquered the Aztecs in Mexico for a specific reason. They wanted to make the mainland of Mexico more established and centralized.
  • Jul 23, 1532

    C.E Conquest of Inca Empire

    Francisco Pizarro led hid men in the conquest of the Inca Empire. The Indians and Spaniards brought down this empire
  • Nov 7, 1571

    C.E Defeat of the Ottoman Empire

    In the Battle of Lepanto, in the Eastern Mediterranean, a Spanish directed fleet defeated the Ottoman Empire Navy. This stopped the Turks from challneging the Europeans on large international routes.

  • C.E Britain and Spanish Battle

    A sea battle between the British and Spanish caused the massive Spanish Armada to retret after the Britsh won. This proved the British and Dutch dominance on the seas.

  • C.E Dutch Conquest of Northeastern Brazil

    This coquest of Northeastern Brazil was very satisfying and proved the strength of the Dutch.

  • C.E Russia vs. Sweden

    Russia won the battle against Sweden in the Baltic Area. This war was part of a series of wars won by the Russians.

    An Indian ruler in Bengal attacked and captured a British base in Calcutta. With the capture, Englishmen ended up in their own prisons.

    While many attacks and captures occured during the Seven Year War, a big one stands out. Britain attacked France and won and France lost a colony in the Treaty of Paris.

    Portugese miners plotted against the Portugese control for independence, however the revolt failed to take action.

    During the Great Revolution of 1917, the Russian people attempted to overthrow the Russian Tsar and the government.
