As a piano player, I continually want to get better at what I do each and every song that I play. There are hundreds of challenging songs but there is one song I have been dying to get mastered. The piano solo of Don't Stop Believin' arranged by Jarrod Radnich has been a goal of mine. Within the next 3 months, I want to finally learn the entire piece. I believe practicing almost every day for at least 30 minutes will help me achieve this goal. -
Within the next year I want to expand my social circle or community with as many connections as I possibly can. I want to specifically meet potential employers, potential clients, and potential work friends as well as social friends for when I am not working. I believe having an even spread of those categories will help me develop my character as a whole and help me in my work and my life. By attending social events and career fairs, I can meet new people -
Within the next 3 years, I want to be financially literate and be able to successfully help clients with their financial goals. I will do this by finishing my graduate degree as well as taking the CFP exam. I also want to create steady funds for myself in the future by funding my Roth IRA to at least $3,000 a year. This will set me up to be in a good position once I can use that IRA. -
In the next five years, I want to be working as a financial planner or working in the financial sector of a major corporation. I will make this happen by attending many career fairs throughout my last year here at U.A. Being in the financial career sector, will allow me to use the skills and knowledge I learned at school to both benefit myself, my clients, and my company as a whole! -
By the year 2031, or in 10 years, I want to be a homeowner in a good area with a wife and children. This is important to me because family comes first, even from my future place of work, family will always come first and I believe setting a goal of 10 years being a homeowner will motivate me to work hard towards a nice house, and a wonderful family.
