The Halifax explosion was also a social decline for Canadian civilians as they were already going through so much during the wartime and now had to get back from all the damage that the explosion had caused. -
Spanish Influenza Epidemic (-1 Economy)
The Spanish flu caused a major decline in the economy of Canada as many business went bankrupt since their services or products were no longer needed. This caused a major drop in the economy since no one was making any sales. -

This strike was a major downfall for the Canadian economy as many businesses shut down due to more than 30,000 workers leaving their jobs to protest for a a raise and better working conditions. -

The Balfour report was a very progressive even for Canadian politics as we were now looked at as an equal to Britain and no country was above the other. Resulting in Canada finally being able to make its own decisions. -

The Persons Case was a socially progressive event that took place which granted women to legally be considered as a "person", meaning that we were now an equal to men. Therefore making this event very progressive as Canada was now moving into a more modern stage. -
The Stock Market Crash (-2 Economy)
Being the biggest stock market crash in Canadian history this took a major toll on the Canadian economy as it caused many major companies to lose millions of dollars, resulting in taxes not being payed, pushing Canada farther and farther into debt. -
The Chanak Affair (+1 Politics)
The Chanak affair was when Canada decided to have a say on decisions involving their country when it comes to foreign affairs. Through this event they gained somewhat control, therefore making it a progressive event for the politics of Canada.
