1st Crusade launched
The 1st Crusade was launched by the Pope Urban II. The Muslims captured Jerusalem. The massacre of 3000 Christian Pilgrims in Jerusalem prompted the first crusade. -

2nd Crusade
The Muslims succeded in capturing Edessa, one of the primcipal Christians outpost in the East. The fall of the city of Edessa followed by the lost of the Europe to thedanger which threatned the latin kingdom of Jerusalem. -

Saladin retakes the city of Jersulasem
Saladin was a great leader Muslim leader. He united the Muslims and recaptured Jersusalem for th Muslim after defeating the king of Jerusalem. -
Aug 20, 1191
Massacre at Acre
Richard I of England massacred nearly 3,000 saracen hostages at the Acre because Saladin owned him money. In exchange Saladin was to pay 200,000 gold pieces, relaese some 1,500 Christian pisioner and return the holy cross. These action had to accomplish within one month after the fall. Richard would hold 2,700 muslim. In the end this goal was barely meet. -

Turks capture Constantinople
Mohammed II, the ottoman leader, dragged 70 ships overload to support the 250,000 troops that were surrounding the city. The ottomans had a 1,200 pound cannon that breached the walls of the city. Once the death of the Byzantine Empire, which had lasted for once thousand years came to an end. -
Arab league decalres jihad on Israel
The Arabs not only rejected partition, but attacked Israel from all sides. On the day that Israel declared its idependence the Arab league secretary General Azzam pasna declared "jihad" a holy water. He said this will be a war of extermination and a momentous massacre. -
3rd Crusade
Thee Muslim world found in the famous Saladin a leader for a holy war against the Christians. Saladin in character was a typical Mohammedan, very devout in prayers and fasting, fiercely hostile toward unbelievers, and full of the pride of race. To these qualities he added a kindliness and humanity not surpassed, if equaled, by any of his Christian foes. The Third Crusade was caused by the capture of Jerusalem in 1187 by Saladin, the sultan of Egypt. -

The Battle of Algiers was an attempt by the Britians to end the slavery practice of the Dey of Algiers. -

In 1956 the Suez Canal was nationalised by Gamal Abdel Nasser. The Suez Canal Crisis of1956 effectively ended the political carrer of sir Anthony Eden but it served to greatley adavnce the already very high standing Nasser had in the Arab world. -

In August 1990, Saddam Hussein invaded Kuwait ans american ally with huge amount of oil in a small countrry. In the early part of 1991, the US and serval other countries fought against Iraq. -
9/11
A group of muslim called the al-Qaeda hijack the plane and crash the twins tower in 2001. Nearly 3,000 people die from this attack. -
Operation Iraqi Freedom
The Second Gulf War or Operation Iraqi Freedom, was a military campaign that began on March 20, 2003, with the invasion of Iraq by a multinational force led by troops from the United States under the administration of President George W. Bush and the United Kingdom under Prime Minister Tony Blair.
