Early Childhood Age 2-6
at age 4, our family moved to Dearborn Heights, Michigan. In September 0f 1992, I started Kindergarten at Bedford Elementary School. In June 1993, shortly before my 6th birthday, my brother Brandon was born. At age 4, I made my first friend in the neighborhood, Ashley O. -

Middle Childhood Age 6-11
around 7 years old, I joined Girl Scouts with some girls from school. at age 11, I started middle school. in the summer of 1998, we had a house fire and had to stay in hotels/town house until the day before thanksgiving of that year, while our house was repaired. -

Adolescence
In the fall of 1998 I started middle school. It was the start of puberty. So many hormonal, emotional, and physical changes all happening seemingly at once. I made new friends, that would end up lasting years. My parents separated when I was 13, and finalized their divorce when I was around 15. That was difficult to say the least. I got my first job at 16. I graduated high school in 2005. I didn't go to college right away, just worked for a few years. -

Emerging Adulthood
I got my first boyfriend my senior year of high school. At 18 I was working full time at Taco Bell inside Metro Airport. I also finally got my driver's license around 18-19 years old. Broke up with boyfriend in 2007. In 2008, I bought my first car. I also enrolled at Baker College. I got my second boyfriend, that lasted about a year. I earned my associates degree in 2011 from there. in 2012 I started a new job working at Home Care of Michigan. -

Adulthood
at 25 I knew I wanted to go back to school, just wasn't sure for what. I had a falling out with my mother in 2014, haven't talked to her in nearly 2 years. I live with my sister and her family. I also bought my first brand new car. in fall of 2015, I started at Schoolcraft. In the coming years, I see myself getting married to my boyfriend, us getting a place to live, I graduate nursing school, and we start a family in a couple years. I will work as a nurse in a home care setting. -

Late Adulthood
Josh & I are now married, and we moved to south Georgia. We had 4 children - 3 boys and 1 girl. I continued working as a RN, and Josh worked as an associate pastor at our church. I retired at the age of 66. Now I garden & volunteer with the animal shelter. Josh retires a couple years later. We moved to Kauai, Hawaii and enjoyed a wonderful 20 more years together. Josh had passed on at the age of 90, and I just shy of 94. We have lived a beautiful and full life.
