  • My great-auntie Grace passing away

This woman had a heart of gold, that's the best way I can describe her in words. Me and her were always close from a young age, she was like a second mother to me. My mom and her were also very close, she even named my brother "Graeson" after her. She passed away from lung cancer, this affected my family so much that everybody in my family who smoked stopped immediately. My mom tells me about how it felt watching her breathe her last breath, holding her hand and telling her she could let go.
  • Moving to a new neighbourhood in Edmonton

My parents have had their ups and downs throughout their careers, and with a family to provide for and a baby on the way, living off of one income was a struggle. When we moved it was a big change. I had lots of new friends, I had a baby brother on the way to look forward to, I started ballet , and swimming lessons at the local YMCA
  • Graeson being born

    Graeson being born
On July 23rd 2006, we welcomed my little brother Graeson into the world. I was finally a big sister, and I had a lot of responsibilities ahead of me. Graeson was born healthy but faced health problems that threatened his life. The first 3 years of his life were often spent at doctors appointments and hospitals, it was often that we were told he wasn't going to make it. But at the age of 11, he faces 0 health problems.
  • Moving to Calgary

Although leaving our family in Edmonton was hard, I had big changes to look forward to again. I started elementary school, I had another baby brother to look forward to, and I made lots of new friends again. We moved to a cute little suburban neighbourhood called Kincora.
  • Meeting Edna

With both my parents working all the time, they needed someone to take care of us full time. Edna was born and raised in the Philippines in a developing area with not many job opportunities. We helped her come to Canada to work as our Nanny full time, working for us and living in our basement so she could send money to her family. Edna was the most hardworking person I'd ever seen, and although we didn't get along at times she had a heart of Gold. Eventually she got her family to come to Canada.
  • Carson being born

My little brother Carson was born on april 2nd 2008 in Calgary, Alberta
  • Catching my first fish

    Catching my first fish
After many times saying "i'll never catch a fish" I finally caught one. It was a 3-4 lb Rainbow trout which was caught at Kimbasket lake in BC. After that, I fished non-stop for the rest of the trip in hopes i'd catch another one.
  • Moving to Ontario

If we thought the move from Edmonton to Calgary was hard, moving to the other side of the country was the hardest. My dad got a job opportunity that changed our perspective of hard work, we finally got to see the all the hard work my dad put in mean something. And to me, thats the best feeling in the world.
  • My first horse show

    My first horse show
I'm happy to say that I never grew out of the "I love horses" phase. Since I was young, horses have always been a huge part of me. I wanted to do lessons but we never had the money. After we moved to Ontario we finally had the money to persue my dreams. Me and my pony came home with two 1st place ribbons,a 3rd, a 5th, and we ended up winning reserve champion for having the most points
  • Potentially buying my first horse

While my parents had money for lessons, I never thought i'd get a horse until i've moved out and had my own career. Me and my mom found a beautiful horse on Kijiji which seems like a perfect fit. If everything works out i'm going to name my horse after my favourite childhood movie "spirit"
