  I was born three months early.

  My little brother Ryan was born!

  I was put in special education classes for reading, math, and spelling. This was a struggle at first but overall it is one of the main things that have made me who I am.

  I transferred from Wales elementary to Cushing elementary in first grade. I met all of my closest friends this year. I am still really close with most of them today.

  My little brother Adam was born!

  I was put back into regular classes for reading. I excelled in reading and I started reading above my grade level.

  In 8th grade I was put back into regular classes for math.

  New Orleans was my first ever mission trip. This showed me how much I love hearing people’s stories and exploring new places.

  I did not make the volleyball team my freshman year. I had been playing volleyball since 4th grade. I was devastated.

  I started playing rugby my freshman year of high school. I went on to be president of my high school team.

  I went in to the Dollar Tree in Pewaukee to ask for an application because my mom had been bugging me to get a job. I asked for an application and they gave me the job (literally, I never did get an application). I have been working there for going on 5 years now.

  I went on a mission trip in Guatemala. This really changed my life. This is when I knew I wanted to be an Anthropologist.

  This was my third mission trip. Mission trips are always memorable; I met amazing people that inspire me every day.

  I was accepted to UW-Milwaukee. I was really excited and nervous and terrified.

  This was my fourth mission trip. I learned how to use a machete and how to put on a roof.

  I became match sec. for the Lady Panther Rugby Football Club; soon after I became VP then President. I got us into a new funding model. Got us a new coach, a full team and paid off the last of the $1300 debt we owed.

  One of my most memorable mission trips; I learned what pushes people to the breaking point. How far people are willing to go for an act and just how much I can handle emotionally, physically and mentally.

  I went on a mission trip in Guatemala again. This time I could see things with new eyes and a fresh perspective set me back on track to what I want to do.

  I got to go to Seattle Washington for four days. I stayed with my friend and ex-boyfriend who paid for me to go. Also I did not know I was going there until two days before I left. My little brother and my ex teamed up to trick me into going there. Over all it was fun but it had a good helping of awkward. I realized just how good I am in awkward situations.
