  • Move from NY to AZ

    Move from NY to AZ
Moving from New York to Arizona changed my entire life because I went from growing up in New York and spending my childhood in the same home and environment with familiar surroundings and routines to moving out of state into unfamiliar territories. I went from hanging out with friends and riding bikes every day to being lonely, from visiting my aunt every weekend to not seeing her for years – BIG change.
  • Anxiety & Depression Set In

    Anxiety & Depression Set In
This was the year that my social/general anxiety and depression kicked in and made it hard for me to participate in many things. When I learned the intensity of my anxiety, I was greatly impacted by it. Simple things like going to school and applying myself fully became a struggle and triggered panic attacks and waves of negative self talk. Depression has affected my drive, inspiration and my overall bubbly aura.
  • Making Music!

    Making Music!
2011 was the year that I began taking music more seriously and started recording covers. Music always mattered the most to me and recording covers finally felt like a step in the right direction. Making music is when I feel the most connected to myself and it was a great experience.
  • Spiritual Awakening!

    Spiritual Awakening!
On a birthday trip to Sedona, I met a woman named Sahara who helped me awaken my spiritual side andd she genuinely changed my life significantly for the better. Spirituality is something that I really identify with and she helped me to become aware of a lot of things and helped me to activate my intuition. Meeting Sahara was the best thing I've ever experienced in my entire life.
  • Family Drama

    Family Drama
My sister got into a relationship with someone who became very toxic over time and in 2013 I watching him flood into my life was a tragic time. I felt very helpless, uncomfortable and confused a lot of the time when he was around. It is very difficult to see two people interact and be together when they don't value each other, when there is no love, they are wasting their time and don't even like each other very much.
  • Birth of Twin Nephews

    Birth of Twin Nephews
When I got the news that my sister was having twins it was really exciting because I am a twin myself and naturally I was very eager for their arrival. I knew that these boys would be perfect angels but didn’t realize that they would partially consume my life. At birth they had a lot of breathing issues and other difficulties and I often supervised them, spending a lot of nights just watching them sleep to make sure that they were still breathing.
  • Moved from AZ to FL

    Moved from AZ to FL
My family and I made another big, out of state move from Arizona to Orlando, Florida which changed my life. I experienced many different things in Florida and most importantly I was allowed more freedom which led to more independence. Living in Florida, I went to the beach for the first time and I was able to explore my freedom and desires much more.
  • The Voice Auditon

    The Voice Auditon
My audition for The Voice is extremely important and significant to me because I struggle with terrible social anxiety and the idea that I was able to audition for The Voice without passing out is a miracle. I didn’t get to be anywhere near the cameras but I was in a room full of people and I sang in front of a whole crowd. That is a big accomplishment for me because even making phone calls makes my hands shake.
  • Felicia's Death

    Felicia's Death
My Mom’s closest friend passed away and so many things changed. Her unexpected death was a complete shock and I was in denial the entire time because I never thought that someone so amazing and gifted would leave the physical world so soon. I was in no way prepared for her death. It was deeply upsetting made me think a lot about how much life matters and the people in your life.
  • Move from FL to AZ

    Move from FL to AZ
Moving back to Arizona from Florida was definitely the biggest move of my life. I went from living with just my parents and sister to living with a bunch of people – fifteen to be exact (mostly family). Living with so many people in one house is indescribable.
