My grandmother went into the hospital for a common surgery and during the surgery, the doctor made a critical error that put my grandma in a 6 month coma. The doctors at the hospital did not expect her to live (or wake up) from the coma, and if she did, she would be completely paralyzed.

Through heavy prayer and trust in our Lord, my grandma woke up from her coma, and after much therapy, my grandma was able to walk and speak again. She is not the same as she used to be, but we are very blessed to have her with us still.

Being a part of a church like Ada Bible has assisted in shaping me into the person I am today. And once I started working as a small group leader for elementary age students, I realized just how much I really enjoy being around children.
