On October 18th of 1812, in the battle of Battle of Queenston Heights, Issac Brock (The leader of Britain) was sending a message to Another one of the generals(Major General Roger Hale Sheaffe). Brock began to rally the british army to retake the heights, In attack he was struck in the chest and killed. Later in the battle after he was declared dead, Sheaffe later arrived and fought the battle to a victorious conclusion and britain won this battle. -

This was another major battle that was fought in Toronto which is in Canada. During the War of 1812, the lake was both the front line between Upper Canada and the United States. America won this battle, the main reason all these battles were declared was for land gaining and freedom. The whole war itself reflected on that. The battle of York resulted in a big explosion and killed 38 america soliders and wounded 22. With an American victory. -
Battle of Mackinac Island
This battle involved British and america, with the Native tribes on britains side. The British held on Mackinac securly since they also held onto Detroit, which the Americans would have to recover before attacking Mackinac. Then on 10 September 1813, the Americans won the decisive naval Battle of Lake Erie, which allowed britain to recover for the detroit battle and won that battle and stuck securley onto this land and claimed the land and the battle of Battle of Mackinac Island. -
Treaty of Ghent
The treaty of Ghent was a peace treaty between United States and Britain. Britain sent it to America but the communication was very slow. However, the treaty was not in effect until it was agreed by Congress in February 1815. After this treaty the battle of New Orleans took place. Which was the last battle of the war of 1812. -
