My Birth
I was born at Manchabaa's Maternity Home at 12:45 P.M. My mom was obviously there as well as my mom's sister and her mom. I was only lbs., I think that's small. The picture is actually of me when I was a year old since I couldn't find any older ones. -
Moving To Canada
This was a major event in my family's life. We had to leave our entire family behind and start a new life in a completely different country. I remember my dad being stressed out, my mom crying and me laughing and having a great time as demonstrated in the picture. -
Brother's Birth
On this day, my younger and very annoying brother was born. He was even smaller than me, only 3.9 lbs. I had a really funny picture that I wanted to put but I can't find it. -
Junior Kindergarten at Bellmere Jr. Public School
This was the first time I attended school in Canada. I didn't know English but I mean, it was kindergarten, it didn't really matter. Then, I went back to India and did 1st and 2nd grade. When I came back, I was placed in ESL since I didn't know English that well. I had one close friend, Shreya, who I would consider as my first best friend. -
Moving from Scarborough to Etobicoke
When we first moved to Canada, we actually lived with my uncle's family. But then, we found an apartment in Scarborough and lived there. Then, after 6 years, we decided to move into another apartment but in Etobicoke. -
Started School at Highfield Jr. Public School
This was the first day of school for me since moving to Etobicoke. I wasn't really nervous because I didn't really care, I guess. I wasn't involved in anything, partially because I didn't really have any friends to join with and again, didn't care for it. The picture was taken on picture day and I have no other words for it except for thank God for puberty. -
BFF
I'm not sure if this was the exact date but I know it was somewhere around this time that I met my current best friend. Her name is Lilly Unus. We actually didn't become close until three years later but it doesn't seem right to not include the three years we were friends. This is my favourite picture of us and it was taken on the last day of seventh grade. -
Grade 8 Graduation
On this day, my classmates and I graduated from middle school and moved on to high school. Some of my friends I'd known since the fourth grade so it was pretty sad to know that we would be parting ways. The picture was taken on grad by my teacher, Mr.K. Everyone in it is very important to me. -
High School
This was my first day of high school. I mean, technically, it's half day because the first day was only from 12-3 but you get the point. I also decided to add in this selfie that I'm pretty sure I took on the first day of school. -
Trip To India
This was a very memorable trip. My family went to India after 6 years which is a very long time if you think about the fact that the last time I was there, I was in grade 3. We decided to go since it was my cousins' wedding. The girl in the white and the guy in the purple were getting married along with the girl beside me. It was a really fun time and I can't wait for the next time.
