Diana DeYoung, me, was born February 12th, 2001 at the Spectrum Butterworth Hospital! I was about 5 lbs (or something like that) and born at 3:30 in the afternoon, 2 days before Valentine's Day.

In late 2001, when I was between 0-1 years old, I said my first word, Mama! This adorable picture was taken soon after :)

My mom decided to work at Meijer to help support the family, but became a housewife after a year of working there. She is still a housewife now.

I learned how to walk at almost 2 years old. I was a late bloomer (here, I am pictured with my older brother).

My little brother, Casey, was born on October 14th, 2004 (weighed about 7 lbs) and born in East Grand Rapids. He was so cute!!!!

When I turned 4, we took a cute family picture after presents and Valentine's gifts. We all smiled :)

I met Rebecca Tran, my best friend, when I was 5 years old and in kindergarten! We still are besties to this day, although she goes to Grandville (we both met when we went to Godwin Heights Schools).

I tried soccer out for a year, when I was 6 years old. It was fun, but not my thing.

Our neighborhood in Wyoming, Michigan was becoming dangerous, so Dad started to look for a new home. He looked for a whole year.

We moved to Byron Center when I was 8 years old. It was a good house!

I ran my first 5k at 9 years old and I was in 3rd grade! I knew then that running was my passion :)

I was 10 years old in 2011 when my big sister began high school. She was all grown up :)

I began 6th grade at 11 years old at Nickels. It was 2012.

When I was 12 in 2013, I won the 6th grade schoolwide spelling bee at Nickels! My mom was so proud :)

My family watched as my friend and I sang in a middle school talent show. It was fun!

In 2015, my sister graduated high school! She had finally made it!

I rode my first rollercoaster, Wolverine Wildcat, at 15 years old in 2016. It was fun!

I was 16 when I went to my cousin's wedding in 2017. I cried ;)

We had a great time singing and watching musicals. We also toured and I'd never been there before that!

I am now an official adult! I am excited to get more rights!
