    (1st class) Miss Amelia Mary "When my daughter and i arrived in South Hampton, my husband walked us down to the deck where we would be boarding the Titanic. We said our goodbyes and i told him i would see him soon. Afterwards my daughter and i where esscorted to my room by a nice man and attended to our every need."

    (2nd class) "When i reached the deck where you where supposed to get onto the Titanic, i tried driving my car as close as i could get to it. So many people where there to see the Titanic. When i found my spot, i got escorted insde.

    (2nd class) "I stayed in my room as the Titanic picked up more passengers from France. I planned to eat breakfast in the morning but i wanted to take everything in by the comfort of my room by reading a book and feeling the motion of the boat riding along the ocean. 2Nd class was not allowed to go on the upper deck anyways."

    (1st class) "The boat had one more trip, we would be arriving in Cherboug France to pick up more passengers. We enjoyed the veiw of France from the first class public rooms. The first class public rooms included a dining saloon, reception room, restaurant, lounge, reading and writing room, smoking room and the veranda cafes and palm courts."

    (3rd class) "I was a little late to get on the Titanic, but when i reached the boat i was given a number of my cabin. Then i had to go through many people to find it myself. It was a small room with a bunk bed."

    (3rd class) "I was wondering the titantic seeing where i would be for the next days. I realized that all men and woman has only 2 bathtubs to share. My bed had no pillow cases or sheets. But luckily i brought my belongings with me. So anything the titantic provided was only a bonus."

    (2nd class) "After staying in my room for a night, i decided to see the 2nd class areas, we had a smoke room , pathrianna baths , dimmed rooms for thows who liked photography , clanster beds / water beds , quiet area , and a sun deck. I read on the sundeck after breakfast and enjoyed the ride. I was alone so there wasnt much i wanted to do."

    (3rd class) " In third class it wasnt very fancy. Im sure the upperclass passengers had it better. But i still enjoyed it, i discovered the smoke room and it was amazing. Not in looks, it was pretty run down and it looked like an old bar. But the people where very down to earth. Fun music was playing and we all danced and drank until we couldnt anymore. That is where i spent most of my time."

    (1st class) " For the next two days the Titanic had no problems we sailed through calm waters. A bump or two was felt by the seconde and third class im sure. But in first class everything was eligant, we were able to see everything from the upper class deck and had beautiful dining areas."

    (1st class) "As my daughter and i woke up to eat breakfast, we heard small rumors that there where warnings of icebergs up ahead. I told my daughter not to worry that if there where then the captain would warn all passengers and would call for help immediatly."

    (2nd class) "I continued being just a face in the crowd, until i walked by a beautiful woman sitting in a 2nd class dining room. She was alone eating her breakfast. I wanted to get to know this woman but she had to be married, she was to beautiful.

    (3rd class) "As i walked into the smoke room once again, i noticed how all the men and women who always where in that room where in a circle as one man was preaching. The man continued on and on about how the ship would crash and sink. I didnt believe it, so i walked out. But as i walked back to my room i kept asking myself what if the ship did sink."

    (2nd class) "As i was on the sundeck reading my book, something hit the side of the ship. My book went flying over the rail. I immediatly ran to get it but was i peered over the side of the Titanic i saw the giant iceberg and the impact it made on the ship. Everyone was in panic mode, people where screaming, kids where crying, no one knew what was going to happen."

    (3rd class) "When the iceberg struck the side of the boat, i was sleeping. My head ached and my stomach felt queezy from the night before. I fell out of bed when i felt the ground move and hit my face on the ground. I slowly got up and went to open my door. But what i didnt notice is i was walking in small pool of water that covered the whole 3rd floor."

    (1st class). "When I heard that the ship was hit by an iceberg, i told my daughter that our trip was over and we would be going back home to daddy and that everything is going to be okay. I took her hand and she followed behind as we made our way to our room. First class was calm because not all knew what was going on. But the people who knew where scared and frightened my daughter."

    (2nd class) "My immediate reaction to the ship getting hit was shock. Ive heard about ships sinking but i never thought it would be happening to me. I saw people rushing to there rooms to grab there belongings and i decided to do the same. Luckily i was by myself and i didnt have to worry about my loved one getting hurt."

    (3rd class) "As the ocean water continued to rise i helped familys and strangers get to safety. I held their bags in one hand and my bags in another as we tried to get to the top of the ship. But it was hard since everyone was pushing and shoving to get through, by the time this family and i got to the gate. No one was moving and we didnt know why."

    (2nd class) "I tried to keep calm and carry my things up to the deck, it was the only place where there wasnt going to be water for a little while. I had no idea what the plan was, all i knew was to get to the top of the ship."

    (1st class) "The Titanic was hit, my daughter was next to my side holding my hand and out of nowhere a huge movement in the ship pushed me to the ground. I held her, frantically looking around to see if anyone knew what was going on. And if it was going to hit again."

    (2nd class) "I was now on a lifeboat, freezing but somewhat safe. Being on the lifeboat was a lot safer than being on the sinking ship. I jumped when the first distress rocket was fired. That night they fired 8. I just held my things and prayed that someone would hear them."

    (1st class) "After my daughter and i got a hold of our belongings we followed the crowd out to the 1st class deck."

    (1st class) . "Out of the deck it was freezing.I held my daughter as close to my side as possible. We both had 3 sweaters on and that was still not enough. It was us and so many other people out on the deck not knowing what was going to happen next."

    (3rd class) "When all the other passengers realized that they might be stuck down in 3rd class, not even getting a chance to survive, a roit started. All the men pushed through and started banging on the gate."

    (3rd class) "The new family i met and i where stilling standing in the middle of all the 3rd class passengers. I told them to wait there as i made my way up to see why the crowd was not moving anymore. The gates where locked! I screamed and yelled at the man holding them closed. But he didnt budge."

    (2nd class). At this time i was still in the ship trying to make my way through the sea of people to the deck. I listened to the worry in peoples voices, so many things where going through my head. The only thing i felt right now was panic."

    (1st class) "After the man in charge saw what a riot the top deck had become, from people jumping on boats and passengers getting pushed down from other passengers trying to get an open seat for there family. The man then annouced that women and children would be going first. My eyes lit up and i grabbed my daughter and brang her to the front. We boarded a boat and i held her in my arms."

    (2nd class) "The man then annouced only women and children where to get on the boats first. My face dropped, not because women and children where going to be saved. That was something i was happy about. But the fact that there was an even less of a chance for me to survive thats what i was scared about. I just stood there waiting for all women and children to board the boats as the ship was still sinking."

    (3rd class) When the family of a women and her two boys where on the deck, i guided them to a lifeboat that was willing to take them and said my goodbyes. They thanked me and gave me hugs. Now i had to worry about myself, where was i going to go. I noticed that only women and children where allowed the board. So i continued helping people get in the lifeboats."

    (1st class) "We where with a boat full of strangers. My daughter was freezing and shivering. I felt so bad that she was so cold, but there wasnt anything i could do except keep her in my arms. I saw all the people on the ship watch as our boat left. I felt so bad but as long as we where safe i was ok"

    (3rd class) "Luckily, i was able to jump on a lifeboat. 1St class and 2nd class where the first to get a boat. And since they where only boarding about 28 passengers on a boat that was ment to board atleast 65, i was blessed. I saw as some passengers that where left cried for help and i felt so guilty."

    (1st class) "After my daughter and i boarded the ship, i gave her a warm bath and layed her down. She soon became warm again but still had a little cough. I called my husband and told him what happened he was so worried and shocked but i told him we where okay and where headed home."

    (1st class) "The last boat that was on the ship was gone. As so many passengers where just left on the ship to drown and die. I held my daughter and hoped that we would make it home. She asked if we where going to die and i told her we would be safe. She began to cough and weeze, i started to try and warm her up but she was suffering. We were in the middle of the ocean."

    (2nd class) "At this point, i began to think instead of drowing or dying instantly i would have to suffer. It seemed as if no matter where you went, on a boat or the ship you would still suffer. I heard no one coming. I began to loose hope, freezing and in the middle of nowhere."

    (2nd class) "I finally took a sigh of relief. All the people who where on the lifeboats and where alive, would survive this night. I watched as people boarded the rescue ship and waited for my turn."

    (3rd class). Mr.Tyrell William " There was atleast over 1,500 left on the Titanic, as the tilt of the Titanic grew steeper, the whole in my stomach worsened. I didn't want to look or hear the people yelling for help."

    (1st class) . "Everyone became silent when the last radio message was streaming from the Captains speeker. He annouced that it was every man for himself. "

    (2nd class) After everyone was silent for the captains message, one last distress rocket was fired and everyone knew this was the end."

    (3rd class) " I over heard a women saying that her husband was lost in the crowd when people first tried to board the boat. She went on and on about how she wants to swim back. But we all knew that was irrational thinking. Still no sign of a ship coming to save us."

    (1st class) "We where in shock, nobody missed it when the loud sound of the Titanic filled everyones ears. The ship broke in two and began to sink, the screams of the passengers left made my stomach turn."

    (2nd class) "This was offically the end, the Titanic began to sink slowly into the water as the passengers on it fell with it. Some fell off the side of the ship and some where in the middle of the boat when it broke and splashed into the ocean."

    (3rd class) "Now the woman that was talking about her husband was histerical, everyone thought it was to awkward to comfort her. But i didnt, so i got up next to her and hugged her. She was sad and i couldnt let her cry by herself while everyone watched."

    (1st class). "I spotted Carpathia's rockets and yelled LOOK. Everyone turned and saw that they where rockets. I told my daughter that we where going to be fine and soon be home."

    (2nd class) "When everyone noticed Carpathias rockets i stood up on the boat carefully and started to wave my hands. It was hard since i was really cold but i still tried. Then other people started trying to yell for help."

    (3rd class) "When the rockets where noticed, all the passengers gained some hope again. The woman calmed herself and other passengers tried to waved the ship down."

    (1st class) " We where going to be safe, my daughter was still coughing and weezing so i thanked god that the boats where coming to pick us up.

    (3rd class) "My boat was one of the ones closest to the ship, so next i boardeded the ship. I helped up the woman who was crying and her kids then i hopped in."

    (2nd class) "Everyone was freezing and eager to get onto the ship, after being in the cold for so long some passengers that made it to the lifeboats, didnt survive the cold. Everyone that was alive made it safetly aboard."

    (3rd class) "705 survivors from the Titanic made it aboard onto the Carpathia. I made myself comfortable in the ship and tried to contamplate what had just happened. That night everyone just tried to sleep in the ship."

    (1st class) "After 3 days of waiting my daughter and i finally made it home in New York. We where the luckiest people alive. We docked and the people who got off in New York walked off. I saw people run to there loved ones and i was one of them. My husband hugged me and my daughter. I was so happy we were home and alive."

    (2nd class) "I was finally home, i lived in new york by myself. But i did have my parents to call. I made my way off the ship and called my mom and dad. Till this day i still wonder if the beautiful woman i saw the day before the ship sank, is still alive."

    (3rd class) "My son and his grandmother waited for me at the dock. I ran to him and hugged him like there was no tomorrow. I was so blessed to be home again. We drove home but i was still shocked about the Titanic sinking."
