I was born on October 11th 1997 in Scottsdale , Arizona. And given the name Tyler C. Balmes.
-
I started playing baseball when I was around age 5. Started with T-Ball and ended up playing with the same coach for the next 4 years.
-
Around when I was 9 to 10 years old fairly far into my baseball life I started having problems in my left elbow. Everytime I threw a baseball I would eventually have severe pain in my left elbow
-
Hit my first homerun in my little league allstar game that ended up going 8 innings and ended after midnight. My first homerun was also in front of the next level up in that leagues coach.
-
Became a Freshman at Horizon High School. I later joined the freshman baseball team for the fall
-
Going into my first baseball game for horizon I was pumped and ready to go but also very nervous. During pregame warmup my elbow was bugging me, I ended up throwing a baseball in long toss and my elbow popped and my whole arm went numb. I tore my growth plate clean off my left elbow. Thus ending my Baseball career
-
I left horizon after first semester and started at another school in August
-
I took a long summer break. And thought over everything and ultimately figured out what I am going to do career wise
-
In in the end of November I started weight and cardio/endurance training for the Fire Academy. I decided to follow in my dads foot steps who is a Fire Captain for Phoenix Fire Department and has 27 years of experience.
