My dad gets home on Friday night and asks if Saturday I wanted to go to Kentucky to get a dune buggy, my answer was an obvious yes. On this trip my mom didn't come so this created a bond that me and my dad have had till this day. Now as often as possible my dad and I ride buggies together.

    Meeting My Future Teammate
At basketball practice I met someone as talented as me. This day I realized how much we had in common, months later we were teammates on a different league and went undefeated. This taught me to be less shy and now me and him are bestfriends.

A Good Tragedy Strikes My Family
My dad and I were racing when he stubbed his toe, we rushed to the hospital where the doctors claim it was broke. This was shortly after school was done for the year which meant we would get to hang out the whole summer riding buggies. From that day foward I find a way to look at all events from a positive point of view.

    My Brother Learns His Lesson
Less than after my dad broke his toe my brother was in the hospital. This injury was way worse than my dads, my brother broke his neck. The doctors said if it was any worse he would have never been able to walk again. After he was cleared from the E.R. he went too live with me for the first time in two years. My brother did this by diving into a pool this taught me to be careful around water, I wouldn't swim forever.
  • Choosing Friends

    Choosing Friends
My mom, dad, and Jacob take off for vacation in Myrtle Beach. While in Myrtle Beach I realized how little Jacob and I had in common, this made vacation a lot less enjoyable. In the end I decided I needed to choose friends more wisely.

    Season Over
At basketball practice the day after I had the best game of my life I stepped on someone's foot. At first I thought nothing of it and tried to walk it off until I fell from the pain. At the doctors they said my final month of the season was over, I was lucky to play in January. This made me realize no matter how good you are anything can happen.
  • Thanksgiving Suprise

    Thanksgiving Suprise
My brother left to go out west for work, I didn't realize how much he meant to me until he was gone. When he walked in the door it brought tears to everyone in the family. From here on out I try not too let him leave.

It was the first time I had ever tocuhed rim, I knew I wanted to dunk next but it would take a lot of hard work. From then on my goal has been to try and dunk by this upcoming season which meant working harder in the gym.

    Big News
My dad walks in from work with a smile on his face I knew something was up. When I asked about it he took me on a short walk and showed me some property. He then said he closed on it and it would be where we would be building our new house. This made me very excited because it meant once again I'd get to spend my summer with my dad.
  • Clank!!

    Clank!!
Down two in the hot gym in Swartz Creek Andrew brings the ball across half court, I spot up. Drew makes a nice crisp pass to me in the corner, five seconds left. The pass hits me right in the sweet spot I let it go. I can tell there's not enough under it. I miss short causing us to lose our last game. From that day foward I try to get up two hundred jumpshots everyday.
  • Overwhelmed

    Overwhelmed
September 2, 2014 was the day that I entered HHS as a timid freshman, I left as a confident learner. It was a warm day, I had only been in the high school for basketball, I'd never been upstairs.

    Opportunity Of A Life Time
I got the chance of my life when Lance Baylis asked me to come up to the gym for basketball. Once I got up there I was asked to play on Josh's team, I didn't play well but it was still fun. Now every Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday I play from 6 till 8:30
