My grandmother Mrs. Doris Mae Clements was born on July 28th, 1941 in Macon Georgia. She was the firstborn child of 10 children to my great-grandparents, Mrs. Ollie Mae Perryman and Mr. Richard Henry Perryman.

In April 1942, a year after her birth, my grandmother moved to Boston, Massachusetts where she then lived all her life

In 1958, at the age of 17, my grandmother graduates from Roxbury Memorial Highschool with Honors.

On September 3, 1960, my grandmother marries her highschool sweetheart, my grandfather Mr. Richard Daniel Clements who is originally from Nova Scotia, Canada.

my grandmother then begins working at the New England Telephone Company and where she will continue to work until her retirement in 2000.

On January 22, 1962, she gives birth to her first child who, my uncle Richard Daniel Clements Jr. (AKA uncle Danny)

She then gives birth to her second child, my mother Tanya L. Clements on October 4, 1963.

My grandmother and grandfather and their two children then move from Moreland st. in Roxbury into their new home on Clifford St, Roxbury in may of 1964, where she will reside for all her life.

My grandmother then gave birth to her third child, my aunt Pamela Jean Clements on May 5, 1965

My grandmother's father Richard H. Perryman had passed away in December of 1969 due to Parkinson's disease.

My grandmother had given birth to her fourth and final child on July 30, 1972. Her name is Tracy Clements

In June of 1980, my grandmothers 3rd youngest sister who is my great Aunt Sandra Perryman was sworn in as a Boston police officer

my grandmother's oldest daughter which is my mom graduates from high school and is taken down to Washington DC to enter college and begin a new chapter of her life in August of 1982.

her first grandchild from my aunt Pammie named Christopher is born on September 11, 1982

my grandmother learns how to drive and receives her Massachusettes driver's license at the age of 43, in 1984.

In 1987 my grandmother loses one of her youngest brothers to a little known disease called Aids. My great uncle Jackie was only 27 years old.

In September of 1989, my grandmother's only son, who is my Uncle Danny, gets married to my new Aunt Brenda. The whole family and my grandmother celebrate.

In 1990 My grandmother and three of her sisters travel for the first time out of the country(USA) to Jamacia for a vacation.

My grandmothers youngest sister, Aunt Perryman, the Boston Police officer, is diagnosed with a very rare blood disease called "A-plastic anemia" and passes away sadly very soon after in 1992

My grandmother then travels down to San- Antonio, Texas to visit my Aunt Pammie and to welcome her newborn granddaughter, my cousin, Ashley Marie Clements who was born on September of 1993

A year later, my grandmother's other brother, my Uncle Richard, is struck down in the prime of his life by a heart attack in 1994 while asleep in his bed.

In 1995 my grandmother's mother(my great-grandma) had a massive stroke which left her wheelchair-bound and in need of 24-hour care.

In 1999, my grandmother came down with a bad case of the flu and because of that, she is finally able to quit smoking cigarettes as a result.

In 2000 she retires from the New England Telephone company after 40 or so years of dedicated service.

Also in 2000, my grandmother's 11th grandchild is born on November 27, 2000. He is my brother Carlos.

My grandmother was unfortunately diagnosed with breast cancer and began chemo + radiation treatments in the spring of 2002.

I, Aleece Rosario, being born on October 9, 2002. I am my grandmother's 13th and last grandchild.

My grandmother had eventually finished her chemotherapy but then is then diagnosed with a very rare and deadly disease called "amyloidosis". she is given just 6 months to live.

In March of 2003, my great-grandmother(my grandmother's mom) Ollie Mae Perryman passes away at the age of 88 years old.

In May of 2003, my grandmother's visually impaired younger sister, Aunt Delores(Aunt Dee Dee), passed away suddenly from an unknown blood disorder.

The biggest surprise birthday party is thrown for my grandmother Doris Mae Clements. It was a celebration of her life at the age of 62 on July 28, 2003

My grandmother Doris Mae Clements passed and is called home on September 11, 2003. I Aleece, her last grandchild was just 1 month shy of first birthday. May she rest in peace.
