I was born in Tulsa, OK in Saint Francis Hospital, "the pink hospital." I was rushed away right after I was born because I had the cord wrapped around my neck and they were afraid I would have complications with my lungs. But I ended up being a healthy little baby.

I turned a year old. I got a very special present for this birthday. I recieved a brown teddy bear. "Teddy" as he became named, has been with me ever since that day.

We moved from Tulsa, OK to Gypsy, OK. My second Christmas was spent in a new home that my parents rented from my mom's aunt.

We moved again, from Gypsy to Bristow, OK. The house we moved into is the house I have lived in for most of my life. My family still lives in that house til this day.

I started Kindergarten. I went to Key Elementary School in Tulsa, OK. I rode a bus from the daycare I went to. I had half days of class, in the afternoon. I remember loving afternoon class because I did not have to take a nap.

For my sixth birthday my parents took me to see the movie "Space Jam." It was my first movie in theaters.

I started my first of 7 years at Bristow Adventist School. BAS is a small school, with anywhere from 12-18 students, depending on the year.

This event has always stood out in my mind. My sister and I went to see Mulan with two of our friends and their mom. We all got kidpack snacks and enjoyed the movie.

My 3rd grade year my sister and I were home schooled. My dad and grandma were our teachers. We spent some school days at our kitchen table at home while others were spent in my grandma's sewing room.

A group of our church memebers got together in the BAS gym and a New Year's Eve celebration to remember. We welcomed the new year and the new millenium sharing our favorite songs and moments.

My sister and I returned to Bristow Adventist School my 4th grade year. We had a new teacher that stayed for two years.

I was baptized at the Bristow SDA Church, it was Adventurer Sabbath and I got baptized in my uniform. I was moving on to Pathfinders that year and getting baptized in my Adventurer uniform was very meaningful for me.

I graduated from the 8th grade at Bristow Adventist School. My one classmate, Matthew House, and a kindergartener were the three that graduated that day.

I started my first summer working at a camp called Wewoka Woods, in Wewoka, OK. I worked in the kitchen that summer.

I began my freshman year at Ozark Adventist Academy in the fall of 2005. I enjoyed all four years that I spent there, making many lasting friendships.

My friends and I burried a time capsule full of memories that we agreed to dig up again our senior year.

I ran for and won the position of SA Sergeant at Arms for the 2007/2008 school year at Ozark. We had a great SA team that year, we planned lots of great activities and hopefully led the school well.

I started working for an insurance company, doing their filing and scanning work. It was a boring job that paid very well, I worked there for 3 summers

My senior year our class put on a performance of "The Wizard of Oz" to raise money for our class trip and graduation. It was a hectic time because there was an ice storm, but it turned out to be a success. I played the part of Auntie Em and one of the munchkins in Munchkin Land.

The time capsule that had been burried my sophomore year was dug up a couple weekends before graduation and we got to see all our long lost "treasures."

Now known as Willis Tower, the Sears tower was one of the attractions our class stopped to see when we were in Chicago. It was a fun, slightly scary experience to be up so high.

The Class of 2009 graduated from Ozark Adventist Academy. With many cheers and tearful goodbyes we recieved our diplomas and ventured out into the world.

I came to SWAU as a freshman. I went through Cricket Camp, now called "CORE," and began my studies.

On Thanksgiving Day my family began the remodeling project on our house. The remodel included a new, higher roof and more space added on the front of the house.

It was the first white Christmas we had had at my house in at least 6 years. It was a very exciting experiece for my family!

I became a counselor at camp. The other summers I'd worked at camp I had been in the kitchen. This was the first summer I got to be in a cabin with 6-12 lovely campers.
