Textbooks have been apart of my education since first grade!
-
I used slates in 3rd grade to play math games.
-
I remember using test cards probably around 4th grade all the way up until I graduated high school!
-
Overhead Projectors were the coolest things to me! I asked my mom to buy me those overhead pens and I'd pretend I was a teacher and wrote on a home-made overhead projector to my "pretend class".
-
The first time I used a calculator was in 7th grade math. I remember being mad at my 6th grade teacher for not letting us use them because her math class was so hard!
-
My first year of Jr High all the teachers had white boards and I was so happy because I hated the sound of chalk screeching on the chalk boards in elementary.
-
Being able to use the internet at school was sweet! I remember in my 8th grade computer class I always tried to get my work done ASAP becasue if we had extra time we could play games on the internet.
-
Getting laptops was awesome because we could just stay in our own classroom and at our own desk, we didn't have to go to the library to use the computers, so convenient!
-
I received my first cell phone my sophomore year of high school, my parents had told me I wouldn't get one until I was 18 but I convinced them otherwise!
-
Flash Drives were so useful because if I didn't have time to print off an essay I could just bring my flashdrive to school and print it off there! I loved those.
