My earliest memory of technology was my parents getting their first cellphones. They had flip phones for a couple of years before transitioning completely over to our land line.

My favorite thing to watch as a child on our TV was PBS Kids, specifically Cyberchase. The rare days that we had when there were reruns were my favorite.

When I was in 3rd grade, I learned how to write in cursive. My teacher used an overhead projector with a transparency sheet to teach us. I thought it was the coolest thing when we were allowed to come up to the projector and write on top of it.

I took my first keyboarding class in 5th grade. Our keyboarding teacher was our school librarian and she would put opaque keyboard covers on top of the keys so we could memorize the placement of the keys.

I got my first iPod touch when I was in 8th grade and I thought it was the coolest thing ever.

Smart Boards made a big appearance when I was in high school. Most of the math teachers had them, and then slowly more and more of the teachers got them.

I got my first cellphone when I was in high school. It was a basic tracphone and I could only send a limited number of messages and calls. My parents allotted me a certain number of minutes each month and if I went over the limit, I had to pay for it.

My dad works in IT and received an old laptop for personal use. I hijacked it and used it as my own. I loved watching the BBC Pride and Prejudice on it.

I won an Ipad mini at an After Prom party when I was a senior in high school.

Right before I left for college, I got my first smartphone and I was thrilled! It was an Android Droid and I thought it was the coolest thing ever.

When I first started college, I was gifted a Chromebook by my parents.

When I came home from my LDS mission, I decided that my chromebook was not sufficient for what I needed to do in school so I got an Apple Macbook Air and an iPhone 8.
