My first video game system. What a treat for my siblings and I.

Computer class was created. We each created a greeting card and printed it out. You then had to fold the paper just right for it to be a card. We also started writing a few lines of code to move objects around the screen.

Not my real brother, but my first Brother Word Processor. I brought this to college and was lucky to be able to type and print papers in my dorm room.

First email account in college. We had to go to the computer lab to use it. I would check it a couple times a month!

My first HUGE cell phone. What a cool thing to have. Pay phones were a thing of the past!

We received our first work email account. We had to agree to check it once a day. People were very reluctant to even do that.

We bought our first digital camera. We no longer need to mail film in and hope we got some good photos. We start taking pictures constantly!

My first iPhone. I resisted for a long time.

I was given the job as technology teacher but hired as a reading teacher. This ended up being the catalyst to send me back to school pursuing my School Library Media certification.

I am able to attend a School Library program states away because of distance learning. My entire program is online.
