Sydney's Financial Timeline

  • Birth

I was born as the first child to a happy family.
  • Sibling Birth

On March 6, 2001. My brother, Nathan, was born. He was the second and the last child born into the Stippler family.
  • Family Purchase of a New Car

My family purchased a new, larger car that would be more suitable to our needs. Previously, my family had driven older models and this was the newest car purchase since my brother and I were born.
  • Parent Loss of Part-Time Job

At the end of my fifth grade year, my dad quit his job as the Varsity basketball coach at North High School. He did not lose his job as a math teacher.
  • Family Spending on Medical Costs

My mom is constantly at the dentist getting a root canal or some kind of procedure done on her teeth. It has been lasting for years now and costs my family a lot of money to be done.
  • NOW: Spending Habits and Money Values

Currently, I am not the best when it comes to saving money. I tend to be the type of person who will save their money for months and as soon as I can afford something, I will buy it. My biggest weakness is shoes and I am constantly making unnecessary purcahses at the mall. I value my money and understand how important it is, but I want to be able to have the willpower to save more.
  • NOW: Personal Financial Status

Currently, I maintain a part-time job as a concession stand worker. It does not pay very well and I only work between early April through late October. Sometimes I don't get offered a session for weeks, but it allows me some way to make money. I also have previously worked at my uncle's landscaping business the past two summers but I do not plan on continuing it. I also plan on finding a job somewhere this May and working continuously throughout this coming summer to be able to save money.
  • Future Goal: Housing

In the future, I definitely plan on spending my money on housing for my spouse and family. I want to be able to afford a nice house in a nice and safe neighborhood. I personally picture myself in a smaller, but extrfemely nice home because I want to be able to invest my money into other things such as vacation and transportation. I want to be able to provide my family with plenty of opportunities as well, so I do not wish to have an obnoxiously large home.
  • Future Goal: Career

In the future, I plan to maintain a successful career that will provide myself and my family for our wants and needs.
  • Future Goal: Children

In the future, I plan on having children. Most likely no more than three, and they will definitely not be cheap.
  • Future Goal: Vacation

This is something extremely important to my future. I definitely want to travel a lot with my family and spouse, which is not cheap. If I do become very wealthy, I hope to even purchase a condominium in Daytona Beach Shores or another beach similar to it.
