Mansa Musa dies, leaving the empire of Mali at its height. When he died, his great kingdom Mali was the only kingdom in Europe that had a nationalism. Mansa Musa's demise had a big affect on all of Mali, leaving Mali heartbroken, for it's great leader had just died.

Not What... More like WHO. Askia Muhammad was known as Songhai's greatest leader. After Sunni Ali, Askia Muhammad took the responsibility of Songhai. He then helped Songhai reach its full potential.

Mali has collapsed. After Mansa Musa's detriment, Mali began to fall apart. It eventually became so weak that Songhai took control over Mali. Sunni Ali, overpowered the weak forces of Mali, and took over. He then became the Leader of Songhai.

Askia Muhammad's made a trip to Mecca. This trip is called Hajj. During this trip, he gave away lots of gold, thus making the price of gold go down. Since he did this, a lot of people wanted to trade with Songhai more. Genius, huh? When he returned, he brought back famous Architects, Doctors, Scientists, and Scholars. He then made many Schools, Banks, and Mosques, making Songhai grow with power every second.
