Radio
Radio is the technology of signaling or communicating using radio waves. This is where we can listen to news and even music. When I was a baby, my parents used to listen to music in the radio and that's when I got exposed to it. I am happy that my parents exposed me to radio because at a very young age, I learned to love music. -
Story Books
Story Book is a book containing a story or collection of stories intended for children. When I was a child, my mom loves to read us bedtime stories to help us sleep. When I was a child, I enjoy it when my mom read the story about Peter Pan. Because of our exposure to storybooks, we loved to collect books to color or read it in my spare time. Until now, I still love to read books but I upgraded to novels. -
Television
Television is a mass medium for advertising, entertainment and news. I used to watch cartoons a lot growing up. I really love Blue's Clues, Teletubbies and Barney because they are very cute. From watching TV Shows, my communication skills improved but my parents had a hard time telling me to take a nap every afternoon. -
Learning Posters
Learning Posters are used by children for them to easily remember lessons especially numbers and alphabets. Growing up, my room was filled with learning posters. It became our bonding time with my mom to read and recite whatever was written in the learning poster. Because of that, I became easier for me to learn more because it is more attractive and presentable. -
Cellular Phone
Cellular Phone is a portable telephone that can make and receive calls over a radio frequency link while the user is moving within a telephone service area. My parents both have cellphones which explains my exposure to it. This is what I use to talk to my grandfather and aunt living in Malabon. I also play basic games in my parent's phone whenever they allow me to use it. -
Books
Book is a written or printed work consisting of pages glued or sewn together along one side and bound in covers. I was first exposed to books when I was in first grade. This was the time where I truly practiced my reading skills. -
Personal Computer
A personal computer is a general-purpose, cost-effective computer that is designed to be used by a single end-user. My aunt gave us a personal computer because my brother needs one to make his projects easier. Because of that, I got to use and learn how to properly use a personal computer -
Facebook
Facebook's sole purpose is for users to make a personal profile, add other users as friends, and send messages. I was in Grade 3 when I first used Facebook because most of my classmates use it. This is where I talk to my cousins living in Malabon and also my classmate. I don't really call myself as an expert on Facebook at the age of 10 because my brother is the one who operates my account. I also got exposed to Youtube at this age because we love watching Taylor Swift's music videos -
Microsoft Office
Microsoft Office is a suite of desktop productivity applications that is designed specifically to be used for office or business use. I got first exposed to using Microsoft office when I was in 3rd Grade because it is an elective subject in my school. I learned how to properly operate Microsoft Office specifically Microsoft Office Word. Learning Microsoft Word at a very young age was very helpful in this more modern period of time. -
Laptop
A laptop is a portable personal computer powered by a battery, or an AC cord plugged into an electrical outlet, which is also used to charge the battery. This is the year where I first got exposed to a laptop. At this age, I use Laptop to play games, do my assignment and watch movies. -
Touchscreen Phone
A touch screen is a computer display screen that is also an input device. The screens are sensitive to pressure. For so many years of using a keypad phone, I finally got to own a touchscreen phone. This is what I use to text my friends and my parents if I need something. I also manage to open different application on my phone and also play different types of games. Since this is a modern one, it has a camera which enables me to take tons of picture to save memories. -
Twitter
Twitter is a social networking and microblogging online service that allows users to send and receive text-based messages or posts of up to 140 characters called "tweets." I got bored of using Facebook that's why I tried using Twitter and I very much enjoyed it. This is where I share everything I feel. Since a few people know my Twitter account, I am more comfortable in sharing my thoughts on there. I also get updates from celebs and friends that I follow. -
Google Drive
Google Drive is a file storage and synchronization service developed by Google. As a senior High School student, we were required to pass some of our projects in google drive to make it easier for teacher's to check our works. It also keeps everything more formal and private if I share files on google drive. I am very thankful that I got exposed to using google drive because now I don't get a hard time in sharing files through it.
