Sister Irene McCormack was born at Kununoppin, West Australia on the 21st of August 1938. She was unfortunately executed by a young girl on the 21st of May 1991.

She received vows as a novice into the order.

She professed here first vows at the age of 20.

In 1960 - 1961, it was her first years of teaching at South Perth from years 5 - 8.

In 1965, she took her final vows.

In 1969, she graduated from the University of Western Australia.

Irene spent 30 years teaching mostly in country schools in West Australia. Her few final years were being principal of Kearnan College from 1981-1985.

Sister Irene McCormack to help and feed the poor and showed true bravery as it was very dangerous to do that in Peru.

Sister Irene celebrated 10 years in Peru with the Josephite sisters.

Sister Irene's funeral mass was held and she was buried in the Huasahuasi cemetery.
